Grammar is not graded.  Only online writing assignments are graded.  Grammar is addressed individually in the "Discussion Questions" assignments.  It is important that these assignments are completed to receive direct, individualized grammar instruction.

Participation Grade is calculated by beginning with 100 points.  Five points are deducted for each absence, therefore you can be absent 2 times and still receive an "A" for participation.  Two points are deducted for being more than 1minute late or being out of the class more than 10 minutes.  (Exceptions are made for special cases approved by Professor Seal.)

Late Work Policy:

https://www.savannahstate.edu/academic-affairs/academic-information/academic-policies.shtml

A student assignment is considered late if it is turned in after 11:55 on the Sunday that ends that week. Three points are deducted for every day that an assignment is late.
